Radek Husak is a contemporary dynamic and innovative mixed-media artist based in London. Born in Poland in 1984, he holds a Master's degree from the Royal College of Art. His work boldly explores the expanded field of print. Through rigorous research and experimentation, Husak has developed a unique technique that combines monoprint transfer with paint and hand-drawn elements on aluminium, paper, wood and canvas. His imaginative use of everyday materials continually pushes the boundaries of his artistic expression.
Within his figurative series, the timeless tradition of classical beauty, and nude portraiture, is inherent. There is a strong influence of religious and Renaissance art throughout his work, which is contrasted with his interest in Pop Art and his use of vibrant, energetic colours.
