Marion Stuart

Marion Stuart is an artist based in Norwich who predominantly works with ceramics and paintings. Marion utilises automatic writing to explore reactions to events in her life. She selects passages and extracts from a book set in the West Country, a place of her heritage, called ‘Dartmoor Omnibus’ by Eden Philpotts. Through embedding, transferring and placing these extracts into her pieces she works with a variety of mediums creating beautiful and striking works.

Her artwork is held in private collections around the world and in public collections; The Archie Bray Foundation USA and The Museum of Aveiro Portugal.
