Caitlin Flood-Molyneux is a contemporary artist based in South Wales. Their practice explores the relationship between pop culture imagery and the ways in which we attach emotion and memory to images, using mixed-media techniques to express subjective experiences of hardship.
Flood-Molyneux has exhibited widely across the UK and internationally, with work shown at Christie’s and Sotheby’s in London. In 2024, they were shortlisted for the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 and attended the conference in Botswana as a delegate. More recently, they delivered a TED Talk at the Senedd, the Welsh Parliament building, and have been featured in publications including Elle, GQ, and The Financial Times. Alongside a recent collaboration with Seminal, which saw their artwork translated onto clothing stocked by Next, Flood-Molyneux was awarded Welsh Visual Artist of the Year by KLAT.
Flood-Molyneux’s work is both deeply personal and universally resonant, charting key moments from their life through bold imagery and vibrant colour. The resulting body of work forms a private yet enigmatic visual narrative, inviting viewers to forge their own emotional connections and interpretations.
