The Pit Firing process involves digging a pit in the ground and filling it with various combustible materials , for this piece sea salt, copper, carbonate have been used. These materials are then lit on fire, and the temperature in the pit rises, creating an oven-like atmosphere.
This process then permit the creation of a unique and organic aesthetic vase
