Acts of gross indecency series

This series explores themes that emerge from domestic interiors created by homosexual men in a time before the legalisation of homosexuality.          

This body of work is an inherently political and important body of work, monuments to the people who suffered under such charges, the discomfort of queer pasts is juxtaposed with comfortable, luxurious items. Mark is confronting the viewer and wanting to challenge pre-conceived notions surrounding homosexuality.
